NatuGena - "APOE-Gen" with Kyra Kauffmann
The APOE4 allele is the most important genetic risk factor for Alzheimer's disease.
In Europe, it is estimated that up to 20% of the population is affected by a heterozygous or homozygous form.
The risk of developing the disease for those affected increases significantly (up to 2.4 times compared to non-gene carriers) and the age of onset of the disease can also be shifted forward by a decade.
The risk can, however, be influenced by epigenetic factors. The American neurologist Professor Dr. Dale Bredesen (UCLA) in particular has researched this in recent decades.
The alternative practitioner Kyra Kauffmann is herself affected by this risk gene and was trained by Dr. Bredesen.
In this webinar, she will discuss the APOE4 gene, but above all explain the relevant lifestyle factors that can significantly reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease.
